We are excited to introduce the five pillars of Rebuild CRFV!

ENERGIZE
ENERGIZE ONE, ENERGIZE ALL.
In recent years, especially seen within the last election cycle, we have seen a lack of energy throughout the Federation. Deployment attendance is at a low. Voter contact is at a low. We have seen in the past how much of a difference college students can make in an election. What our Federation does is vastly important and we need to re-energize each and every chapter no matter the size. With the top of our ticket being from two of the most active and effective chapters in the Commonwealth, Rebuild CRFV knows how to turn CRs out and energize people for the important work that we do. We want to expand what we have learned and implement it within the entire Federation.
UNITY
WE PROMISE TO UNIFY THE FEDERATION.
This year especially we have seen a lot of infighting within the Federation itself. This is due to a lack of transparency, a lack of communication on all sides and a lack of an appropriate venue for said communication. We want to foster unity within the entire Federation. This is crucial to our ability to lead and organize into a Federation that fulfills its duty of getting Republicans elected. For this, we promise to put aside any petty infighting, we promise to hear you. We want our Federation to work together. This isn't a Federation for the executive board, but instead, our executive board exists to serve you. We will hear you, we want to hear you. We promise to have at least one member of the Executive Board visit every chapter each semester. We also wish to create regional coalitions throughout the Commonwealth. Schools that are close together can work together and help build each other up. If one school, for example, doesn’t have enough funding, they can partner to put the event together. Everyone should feel that they have access not only to the resource of the Executive Board but the resources we have within each other. Building on this, we wish to implement a chapter development committee as well. Other chapters should have the ability to help grow and develop the Federation as well.
TRANSPARENCY
WE PROMISE TO BE OPEN TO THE BOARD, MAKING OUR DECISIONS AND REASONING PUBLIC.
Over the last couple of years, there has been a lack of transparency within the Federation between the executive board and its members. The Board (consisting of every chartered chapter chair and the executive board) is meant to work together and properly communicate. This is because the Federation does not belong to the executive board, but to the members of the chapters themselves, and each chapter deserves representation. This isn’t only ethical but constitutional. We promise to be transparent and truthful in all of our proceedings. We promise to conduct our meetings in an open manner, distributing meeting minutes to everyone who wants them. As it currently stands, several chapters do not even have access to the constitution of our Federation. We promise to distribute that on our first day in office. We promise to abide by the constitution. Everyone in the Federation will have access to it in order to hold us to its standard if we do not. We want to work with the entire Federation and not just the executive board.
RESULTS
WE KNOW HOW TO WIN.
As individuals within a board, we have served on some tight races. Alex worked hard as an intern for both Senator Mark Obenshain and Delegate Tony Wilt, where Delegate Wilt’s race was the most contested race in Virginia’s 6th Congressional District this November. He worked hard bringing in numerous volunteers, organizing his club in support and dedicating hundreds of personal hours, helping to bring both of them to victory. Devan worked tirelessly on the Denver Riggleman for Congress campaign in 2018 both as an intern and as the Executive Director of Campaigns for a sister organization focussed on getting him elected, leading a group of students to over 180,000 voter contacts. This past election cycle she volunteered on several tight races throughout the Commonwealth that won their various seats. Jackson jumped into the political scene in Fairfax head-on by interning with Pat Herrity, the only Republican to hold his seat in Fairfax. Jackson personally made thousands of voter contacts, leading to a marginal victory of 300 votes. Our Treasurer Colleen has experience in fundraising and we plan to use that to the fullest. We hope to have one of the best years for fundraising the Federation has ever seen. We as a board, know how to win in a tough spot. We have been there and will continue to lead Republicans to victory no matter how dire the circumstances. We plan on reinstating the ‘How to be a Chapter Guide’ that was removed within the last few administrations in order to guide other chapters to do the same. We believe that information holds power and anything we can do to make that information available is the best thing to do. If there is one thing this ticket knows how to do, it is winning in a tight spot.
REIMAGINE
IT IS TIME TO RETHINK OUR FEDERATION.
We, as a ticket, have several ideas in order to reimagine and rebuild our Federation. The majority of our ideas work towards being a more transparent executive board that works for you and with you. We promise to make all of our executive board meeting minutes public. All meetings conducted by phone will also be open to anyone in the Federation who wishes to join and listen. All executive board votes will be conducted as roll call votes, and those votes will be published along with the meeting minutes. We also plan to work to change the constitution to allow for roll call votes of the entire board (executive and all chapter chairs) over the phone. This was a problem last year with planning things like deployments and dates for the convention (which ended up unconstitutionally not being voted on). We also wish to add the ability to censure a member of the executive board into the constitution. Chapters should have the ability to hold their executive board accountable. We believe that the Federation should be by college students, for college students. This is why we wish to make an amendment where only undergrads can be on leadership within the Federation. We also plan to have an anonymous grievance form on our website. Any grievance submitted will be read and addressed at the next executive board meeting (which will be open to the public and have official minutes released). We also wish to implement a new tradition of a CRFV Conference! We wish this to be a time of bonding. There will be a formal, socials and Virginia politics centered speakers. We want to create a tradition of unity and togetherness within the Federation and hopefully, this will help facilitate that!
